Hello

Thanks for stopping by! If you are here, looks like you are wanting to change how life is going right now. Sometimes, when making change, it can feel very lonely and overwhelming. That can lead to a decrease in motivation and feelings of being defeated. At Ocean Coast Therapy, we seek to empower people as they strive towards their goals and find success. Hopefully, we can help you as well.

Who Am I?

With over two decades of dedicated experience in the field of mental health, I am honored to offer my expertise and compassionate care to those seeking therapeutic support. Currently, as a therapist, I specialize in assisting individuals navigating their mental health challenges. My approach is rooted in a strengths-based perspective, ensuring that each client feels heard and empowered. Utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and trauma-informed care, I strive to foster resilience and well-being through tailored treatment plans. My commitment to confidentiality and accuracy is unwavering, adhering to HIPAA and state regulations in maintaining detailed documentation and client records.

As a therapist, my history includes working in diverse settings such as community mental health, residential day treatment, and therapeutic educational environments. In these roles, I conducted thorough mental health assessments, developed treatment plans, and provided essential therapeutic recommendations. My work involved diagnosing and referring clients to suitable therapeutic and case management services, as well as training interns to ensure a high standard of care.

Never one to shy away from a challenge, I was fortunate to be part of an influential program at the Clark County Juvenile Court. In my work there, I provided support for youth and families facing mental health and relationship challenges, developed treatment plans, conducted Wraparound Meetings, and collaborated with community members to support the holistic progress of each individual.

Always looking to the future, I have served as a faculty member at the community college level, working to advance the field and help foster the next generation of professionals.

My educational background includes a Master of Arts in Psychology from Notre Dame de Namur University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of California, Davis. Throughout my career, I have remained dedicated to professional development and the implementation of innovative strategies to enhance therapeutic outcomes.

I am deeply committed to creating a welcoming and supportive environment for my clients, guiding them on their journey to healing and personal growth with humility and sincerity.
